Evening Walks

Logan, Gibson and I have been taking evening walks for the last few weeks, when the weather permits.  We just wander around usually with no destination in mind.  We stop when the mood suits us, chat about what we see or about adventures we've recently had.  The other day we were walking along when Logan noticed a round object on the ground that  looked to me like a piece of fruit.  We noticed a fruit tree (there are a lot in our neighborhood) in the garden of the house we were standing in front of.  I said it looked like a peach, Logan agreed, except that it was green.

We decided to bring it home with us and cut it open to see what was inside.  Logan had been wearing his new (and first ever) backpack that my cousin Eric sent him so we stuck it in there ("for safe keeping" said Logan) and continued on our walk.

A day or two later we cut it open.  I think its an apricot.  Logan thinks its a peach.  We're gonna go back to that house in week or so to see if any more fall.
