Pier 6 and the Brooklyn Bridge

We took a short car ride to The Pier 6 playground. It's a huge playground (over an acre!) that was built on the pier, which has amazing views of lower Manhattan. The playground has a large water park, enormous sandbox, tall slides & fun swings.

After a few hours at Pier 6, we walked (Gibson & I)/scooted (Logan) along the waterfront, most of which is under construction (lots of interesting construction equipment!). We stopped to look for bugs, to climb on rocks and toss rocks into the water. We walked to Pier 1 and had some ice cream from the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory while looking at the Brooklyn Bridge and watching ferries come and go.
