We have a chandelier over our table in the dining room that is pretty elaborate. It has a lot of little bulbs and crystals hanging. Read: a 3 year old's dream. Logan likes to "fix" the chandelier but the fixing seemed to make it spin a bit (again, a 3 year old's dream) and Paul and I were a tad on the nervous side about the whole thing. I found a small table lamp with a barnyard theme on it and asked Logan if he would like to check it out with me. His eyes lit up almost as much as the light bulb!
This all happened a little over a week ago. Since then, we have 3 table lamps on the floor in the living room. Logan spends a lot of time plugging and unplugging them from the outlet, screwing and unscrewing the bulbs, taking off and putting on the lamp shades and generally talking about the lights and electricity. Paul and I overheard his chatter the other night: "This bulb says 60 watts. It's plugged into there and the electricity goes into there" (the bulb) "and the filament lights up. It gets hot and the hot gets hotter."
