Coney Island

We had an extra special adventure today. We went to Coney Island to the aquarium and to the two amusement parks on the boardwalk. What made it so special? Paul came with us! He's often working or sleeping while we have our adventures away from home but today he was off from work, awake and had enough energy to come along.

Logan gave Paul a tour of the aquarium since we go there often (memberships are AWESOME!). First was the jellyfish and sea nettles. Then, sharks. Walruses, sea lions, more sharks, corals, anemones, electric eel, octopus, mudskipper and lots and lots of fish later, we headed to the boardwalk to watch some rides.

Lots of cool rides at both amusement parks and lots of boardwalk games seemed to fascinate both kids. Logan has been playing with stuffed animals a lot lately, so the games seemed to pique his curiosity. Paul & I played a few games to win some stuffed animals and 3 small fish and 1 bright green squid later, we headed home.

In the pic below, I'm asking Logan if he wanted to trade in 2 of his smaller fish for 1 larger fish. He chose to keep the 3 small ones.
