Logan mentioned that he woukd like to see some fireworks and wouldn't you know, it was July 4th weekend! I searched online for spots to view some (setting them off ourselves is illegal aside from the fact that they make me VERY nervous since I was injured by one as a kid) and guess what? There was a show scheduled for that same day. In our neighborhood! Double jackpot!
We headed over to the water near the Verrazano Bridge and had a fantastic viewing spot. The show was about 20 - 30 minutes and Logan LOVED it. Gibson didn't care much about the fireworks. He wandered around on the grass while Paul and I took turns watching him.
